Holy shit.
First off, this is a historic speech. My grandchildren are going to learn about this speech in school. I’m fairly certain of that. It was absolutely pitch-perfect – Obama managed to shiv McCain while simultaneously taking the moral high ground, he pushed back on Republican myths that have been unassailable for decades, and he laid out in plain language a sweeping, policy-oriented vision for the next eight years in American history. The man conducted a goddamn symphony.
